Discover total body wellness at Virgin Active. With 70 clubs nationwide, this unique exercise experience offers a place where families can spend valuable leisure time together and where people of all ages and abilities can exercise, energise, and unwind.

Standard club members can workout at a ’home’ club and selected other Virgin Active clubs. So, if you use your Virgin Active gym near your work during the week, you can also go to the gym near your home at weekends too. To find out which clubs you could be eligible to use, and to read the terms and conditions, check the club access guide on the Virgin Active website (select ‘Full Virgin Active member’ and then choose your ‘home’ club).

How do I earn Vitality points?

Simply swipe your gym membership card when you go for a workout. Your points will be automatically updated.

What's the maximum Vitality points I can earn in a year?

10 points a day, up to a maximum of 40 per week and a yearly exercise limit of 2,080 per member. Points earned at the gym count towards your exercise limit, so you won’t be able to earn points for other exercise activities on the same day. You must be a member of the gym through PruHealthor PruProtect to earn Vitality points.

How much do I pay?

As a PruProtect member you’ll get a flat rate discount of 20% off the standard retail price for peak-time individual monthly memberships. A £25 activation fee applies and this discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Call us to find out more.

FREE fitness assessments

All Virgin Active gyms can take you through one of our FREE fitness assessments.  It’ll take you just half an hour.  A Virgin Active fitness expert will take you through a series of simple fitness and health tests and then be able to give you some one to one tips on how to get started or improve your fitness routine.  You can have either two health screenings or two fitness assessments or one of each per policy year at our discounted rates. Plus you could earn Vitality points for having ‘clinical indicators’ like your Body Mass Index measured.
